Antica Posta

Antica Posta is one of only two carefully restored villas created from former farm buildings. Set within the beautiful landscape of the Chianti Classico, it offers the ideal setting for a relaxing stay in peaceful countryside surroundings. The shared pool, used only with the guests of the second holiday home, provides a lovely place to unwind and cool off on warm days.

Thanks to its location in the heart of the Chianti Classico, the region’s renowned towns, villages, wineries and castles are all within easy reach. The popular town of Castellina in Chianti is just a five-minute drive away and offers good restaurants, shops and a Coop supermarket, as well as the highly regarded Gelateria di Castellina. Siena, Florence and Arezzo are also just some of the many excellent options for memorable day trips.

About the villa
Antica Posta is a characterful stone-built villa divided into a larger main living area and a smaller studio-style apartment, linked by an internal door. This makes it particularly well suited to families with teenage or grown-up children, as well as friends travelling together who appreciate a little extra independence. The house offers three furnished terraces in total, including a spacious loggia-style dining terrace, as well as a lovely garden with shady trees and plenty of space to relax. Inside, traditional wooden beam ceilings and cosy furnishings give both living areas plenty of Tuscan charm, while the smaller apartment also features a French-size double bed on a mezzanine floor.
