Belvedere is a stylish villa  in a wonderfully peaceful setting and a perfect choice for couples looking for a romantic getaway in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The spacious ground-floor apartment is located in a separate annex, nestled within expansive, park-like gardens. At the centre of the outdoor area is an impressive 18-metre pool, surrounded by greenery, tranquil seating areas and a large natural pond.

The property is just a ten-minute walk from the small village of Monterubiaglio, which offers a bar, a bakery and a small grocery shop. For everything else, Castel Viscardo is only three kilometres away. The historic city of Orvieto, with its famous cathedral and the Albornoz Fortress, is just 20 minutes by car. Also well worth a visit is Civita di Bagnoregio, the “dying village”, dramatically perched on a cliff and reachable only by footbridge. The serene Lake Bolsena is also just 30 minutes away.

The whitewashed house features two large glass arches framed with traditional brickwork. They open onto a terrace with a cosy loveseat and an outdoor dining area. A plant-covered archway leads to the pool area with a pergola and lounge furniture.

Inside, warm wooden floors, exposed ceiling beams and an open-plan living and kitchen area create a welcoming atmosphere. A red-baize snooker table stands out as a striking centrepiece, with curtains and upholstery echoing the same deep red tone. The two large glass arches function as doors, flooding the room with natural light and opening it up to the garden.

Next to the rental cottage stands the main farmhouse, a beautifully preserved building that adds to the property’s authentic Tuscan charm. The owners are a friendly couple who are usually away during the day for work. From time to time, they may use the pool, while always respecting guests' privacy.
