Uva at Ceperano

Radda in Chianti - Siena and Chianti

4 2 1 Shared Pool
Ceperano is a carefully restored former farmhouse set on a family-run agriturismo in the heart of the Chianti, which has been owned by the Soldani family for over thirty years and produces very good olive oil and wine. Built from local natural stone, the property has been converted into four welcoming apartments, each with its own outdoor dining area, ideal for relaxed meals outdoors. The well-kept grounds create a friendly and informal atmosphere and include a small play area for younger guests. For shared enjoyment, table tennis and table football are also available. The shared swimming pool is located around 300 metres from the farmhouse in a particularly attractive and peaceful position and is equipped with a convenient changing area and bathroom, making it perfect for refreshment on warm summer days.

The medieval town of Radda in Chianti can be reached in just five minutes by car or via a scenic walk of around one kilometre, gently sloping uphill through the surrounding vineyards. Radda offers a wide range of amenities including shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours, wine tastings and a supermarket. A variety of local events take place throughout the year, such as Radda nel Bicchiere in May and the Festa del Perdono in late August. The location provides easy access to renowned wineries, castles and Chianti villages such as Volpaia and Castellina in Chianti. The countryside is ideal to explore by bicycle or Vespa, while day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo are all easily achievable. The Soldani family are happy to assist guests with planning excursions and recommending restaurants.

This apartment was like living in a little slice of heaven, which happened to be in the Tuscan Hills of Italy. The only thing I would have improved is my pillow was rather hard, but I still managed to be so exhausted at the end of each day that I slept each night. The two bathrooms and two bedrooms were perfect for a couple of longtime friends who had not seen each other in a while. I would go back tomorrow if time allowed. The Radda area is the perfect place to stay central to visit the Tuscan HILL TOWNS. The little town of Aurora is amazing and they have the most amazing little bakery there that each person who visits there shouldn’t miss. We went for cappuccino and pastries every morning. It was so easy to take the day and go to the different Tuscan Hills and it’s not but maybe an hour from Florence.

To Tuscany team comments for this review:

Thank you so much for your lovely review and feedback. We are delighted to hear you found your little slice of heaven with us in Tuscany and that you had a memorable holiday with your longtime friends. We are also very grateful for you sharing your favorite bakery, that sounds wonderful that you always started your day with a pastry and a cappuccino every morning before exploring the chianti towns! We look forward to welcoming you to Tuscany again!
