Casa Padronale at La Rimessa

Montaione - Florence and Chianti

10 5 5 Shared Pool
La Rimessa is an exceptional estate in the heart of Tuscany, extending over approximately 50 acres and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Five holiday accommodations are spread across four buildings in traditional Tuscan style, far removed from the feel of a conventional resort. The estate is the personal vision of Luciano Spalletti, the Tuscan-born former coach of the Italian national team and current manager of Juventus, who envisioned a place where guests could truly reconnect with nature. A small lake, flower gardens, artworks and a rich variety of animals including horses, donkeys, chickens, alpacas and even emus shape the character of the estate.  Leisure facilities include a large shared pool, a well-equipped gym, a padel court, rental bikes and extensive open space for outdoor activity, while an attentive on-site team ensures every stay feels personal and effortless.

The nearest town, Montaione, offers restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Less than four kilometres away lies the medieval hill town of Gambassi Terme, known for its thermal springs, its position on the historic Via Francigena and its long tradition of glassmaking. The famous towers of San Gimignano are around 25 minutes away, as is Volterra, while Pisa, Lucca and Florence make inspiring day trips.

About the villa
Casa Padronale is a spacious, detached villa set over two floors with a warm, characterful atmosphere. Family with older children

United Kingdom

We were a mixed family group meeting up in Italy - the villa suited everyone - the pool was a great hit and the gym was important for one teenager. It was HOT outside but the aircon kept the inner rooms cool and we ate inside in the evenings. The Canadian family really appreciated the laundry facilities after two weeks on the road. We liked the small town of Montaione and ate there a couple of times but most of the time had family meals using the barbecue. We would love to visit another time when it was cooler but managed to visit Vinci, Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano. All lovely places. See a ove

Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful 5-star review of Casa Padronale at La Rimessa. We're delighted to hear that the villa was a perfect fit for your family gathering and that everyone found something to enjoy. It's also great to know that the air conditioning helped keep you comfortable during the very hot weather. We hope to welcome you back to Tuscany again in the future, perhaps during a cooler season!
