Palazzo Rosadi

Palazzo Rosadi is an impressive eighteenth century villa set within more than twenty five hectares of terraced parkland with wide views across the Tuscan countryside. The house is full of character and history and offers families or groups of friends a stay they will remember for years. It is a wonderful choice for a special celebration or anniversary, and its location close to the Umbrian border makes it easy to explore both regions.

The villa sits in a peaceful rural position on the edge of the small hamlet of Ripoli. The charming town of Monterchi is only a ten minute drive away. Excellent local restaurants such as Osteria Le Civette and La Pieve Vecchia can also be reached in just a few minutes. The owners are happy to arrange unique local experiences. Favourite day trip destinations include Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, and on the Umbrian side Perugia and Assisi.

Outdoors, the natural stone architecture blends with woodland and beautifully kept terraced gardens that step gently down from the house. Wide lawns, shaded corners, and inviting outdoor dining areas create plenty of space to relax. The private pool lies on a lower level among flowerbeds and cypress trees, and the grounds also feature a hot tub with panoramic views, a children’s play area, a barbecue terrace, and access to a private lake for fishing.

Inside, the three storey villa keeps its original Tuscan charm. Vaulted and beamed ceilings, traditional tiles, and hand painted details give each room a warm and welcoming feel. Elegant antique furnishings complete the atmosphere. The bedrooms are air conditioned, and generous shared spaces make it easy to unwind together.

A complimentary welcome buffet awaits guests on arrival. A three hour cleaning service on Wednesday morning is also included. The hot tub must be booked in advance so it can be prepared and heated.
