Il Mulino at Piettorri

Piettorri is an idyllic hamlet set on a large agriturismo in the Val d’Elsa, surrounded by the open countryside of the Sienese region. Its wonderfully peaceful setting makes it an ideal retreat for guests seeking relaxation in nature. The seven carefully renovated villas blend seamlessly into their surroundings and provide everything needed for an easy, unhurried stay. Outdoor facilities include a shared pool, a boccia court, a children’s playground and a small garden bar where guests can enjoy a drink. The on-site team prepares a traditional dinner once a week, subject to sufficient guest interest and occupancy, and available for an additional fee. A maid service is also available on request. Around one kilometre from the villas, on land belonging to the agriturismo, there is a small lake where guests are welcome to go fishing with their own equipment.

The nearest village, Monteguidi, has a restaurant and a bar. The historic town of Casole d’Elsa is about 15 minutes away and offers a wider choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Larger supermarkets are located in Colle di Val d’Elsa, around 25 km away. Nearby, the Parco Fluviale dell’Alta Val d’Elsa with the SentierElsa walking trail is perfect for walks and picnics. Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra can all be reached in about 45 minutes, while the Tuscan coast is just over an hour away.

About the villa
Il Mulino is a welcoming first-floor holiday apartment with a shaded loggia and barbecue, perfect for relaxed alfresco dining. A separate small cottage next to the garden has been transformed into a cosy lounge area with cushioned sofas, offering additional space to unwind. Inside, wooden beamed ceilings and tasteful, comfortable furnishings create a warm atmosphere where guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.
