Venus at Podere di Casalta

Podere di Casalta is a charming small hamlet set on a hillside amid the rolling landscape of the Chianti Classico, between Castellina in Chianti and Panzano. From its elevated position, it enjoys sweeping views across vineyards, olive groves and wooded hills. Built from natural stone, the carefully renovated apartments are beautifully furnished and retain traditional Tuscan features such as exposed wooden beam ceilings and terracotta floors. The outdoor areas of the hamlet are thoughtfully maintained, with lawned spaces, colourful flower beds and fragrant herbs. A spacious communal terrace with tables and chairs offers wonderful views, while a shared pool provides a peaceful place to relax.

Just 15 minutes away by car lies Panzano in Chianti, an ideal base for discovering the region’s celebrated food, wine and artisan traditions. The village is particularly famous for butcher Dario Cecchini, renowned well beyond Italy, who runs both a traditional butcher’s shop and the well-known Officina della Bistecca. Panzano also hosts a lively Sunday morning market with fresh local produce. Castellina in Chianti is equally close and offers a good selection of restaurants as well as the popular Gelateria di Castellina. Other Chianti villages such as Greve, Radda and Volpaia, along with numerous wineries, are easily reached, while Siena, Florence and San Gimignano make excellent day trips.



About the villa
Venus is a ground-floor holiday apartment, with the entrance reached by a few steps. A large furnished terrace invites guests to enjoy meals outdoors and relax while taking in wonderful views over the Chianti Classico landscape. Inside, tasteful and comfortable furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a restful holiday.
