Casa di Amici at San Sano

San Sano is a charming hamlet located within the Chianti village of the same name, set in the heart of the Chianti Classico. This small collection of traditional Tuscan stone buildings once formed part of a winery estate and has been carefully restored and converted into cottages and apartments, while retaining its original character and warm, authentic atmosphere. Each villa has its own furnished outdoor space, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or relaxing in peaceful surroundings. A large shared pool provides a welcome place to cool off on warm summer days.

The Chianti village of San Sano is picturesque and full of Tuscan charm. Just a few minutes’ walk from the hamlet is the popular restaurant La Grotta della Rana, with a small grocery shop next door. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, and the lovely village of Lecchi in Chianti can also be reached on foot. Gaiole in Chianti is just ten minutes away by car and offers several restaurants, small shops, a supermarket and bike rental. The location is excellent for exploring renowned wineries, castles and medieval towns, with Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and Arezzo all within easy reach for day trips.

About the villa
Casa di Amici is a cosy holiday apartment on the first floor with its own private garden area located about 70 metres away. A dining table beneath mature trees provides natural shade and a lovely setting to relax and enjoy meals together outdoors. Inside, the apartment is tastefully and comfortably furnished, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
