The small hill town of Castiglion Fiorentino is only four kilometres away and offers a supermarket, restaurants, bars and a charming historic centre. The town of Cortona is just 13 kilometres away. Its ancient city walls date back to the 5th century, and sights such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Franciscan monastery Le Celle make it well worth a visit.Beautiful  Lake Trasimeno is around 30 minutes away by car, and Arezzo, Siena and Perugia are also perfect destinations for day trips.

The house was built by the current owners using natural stone from a former residence that once stood on the site. The property now consists of a two-storey main house and a separate single-storey cottage. The well-maintained garden, the pool with whirlpool on the higher parts of the terraced gardens  and the high-quality outdoor furnishings ensure a very comfortable stay. There are various seating and lounging areas, including beautifully designed covered daybeds which are perfect places to read and relax. One terrace outside the kitchen overlooks the hills, while another with a barbecue and picnic table is set to the side of the house. Flowering terracotta planters add colour to the garden and terrace.

Inside, the home features classic Tuscan elements such as wooden beam ceilings and terracotta floors. Arched openings connect the living areas with the spacious kitchen. Soft pastel colours, comfortable furnishings and a well-balanced mix of antique and modern pieces create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The separate guest house is ideal for couples who would like more privacy.
