About ten kilometres south, Lake Bolsena is perfect for swimming, sailing, or lakeside walks. Nearby towns such as Orvieto, Viterbo, Perugia, Siena, and Arezzo are within easy reach, offering castles, museums, thermal baths, and traditional markets. The capital city, Rome, is less than two hours away by car.
