Villa La Stella

Villa la Stella is a spacious country house in an elevated position, offering open views across the Tuscan landscape all the way to the island of Elba. With its generous layout both inside and out, and its warm, timeless charm, it’s ideal for a multi-generational family holiday or a relaxed getaway with friends.

The small town of Bagno di Gavorrano is just a 10-minute drive away and offers cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy and a grocery store. The coastal town of Follonica is only 14 km away and features sandy beaches and excellent amenities. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby Il Pelagone Golf Club. History lovers can explore Vetulonia, once one of the most important Etruscan cities, with its necropolis, excavations and archaeological museum (25 minutes by car). Another beautiful place to visit, especially for nature lovers, is the Maremma Natural Park. It is a 9,000-hectare coastal nature reserve that stretches along 25 km of coastline.

The house is painted in a warm, earthy pink with dark green shutters. A covered loggia runs along both the front and back of the house, furnished with comfortable seating and an al fresco dining area. The well-kept garden features mature trees for natural shade, and colourful flowers in terracotta planters. A private pool offers welcome refreshment.

Inside, you’ll find traditional terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and large, light-filled rooms. The open-plan living and dining area is perfect for spending time together. Elegant antique furniture and thoughtful details complete the setting.

Daily breakfast and additional cleaning can be booked on request. From May 1 to September 20, guests may reserve a large parasol, two sun loungers and a chair for use at the beach in Follonica (extra fee applies).
