We spent a fabulous week in Tuscany at the Villino Annalisa. The villa was in the perfect location, offering peace and quiet and stunning views of the countryside and mountains. The villa was clean and tidy and very well presented and the surrounding pool and garden area were well maintained and welcoming. The pool area is perfect for spending hot days relaxing and the kitchen is well equipped to allow you to make the most of the great food Italy has to offer - thanks for the fresh eggs Stella, breakfast was a treat! We spent a few evenings enjoying the local wine, watching the lightning bugs after dusk and appreciating the starry sky above. I'd recommend it to those who want some peace and tranquility along with a useful base to explore Tuscany further. The location is great - a short walk into Coreglii Antelminelli where there are a couple of restaurants, supermarkets and facilities. We visited Pisa by taking the train from the nearby Ghivizzano station, drove down to Borgo a Mozzano to see the Ponte del Diavolo o della Maddalena (Devil's Bridge) and visited Lucca for the day, which I would recommend for the choice of restaurants and shopping. If you want to walk and explore though, there's huge scope to enjoy. Just be prepared for the hills!
Thank you very much for your wonderful 5-star review. We are delighted to hear that you had such a lovely stay at Villino Annalisa and enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful views, and the well-kept garden and pool area. Thank you for recommending the villa, and we hope to welcome you back to Tuscany again in the future.
