Montefienali is a small, atmospheric hamlet tucked into the rolling hills of Chianti, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by vineyards and wooded countryside. Dating back to the 13th century and set along an ancient Roman road, it sits proudly on a ridge with far-reaching views across the landscape. The historic stone buildings have been sympathetically restored and converted into individual villas and  holiday apartments, each with its own outdoor dining area, ideal for relaxed meals in the open air. At the top of the hamlet, a large shared pool with a separate shallow children’s pool provides welcome refreshment during the warm Tuscan summer, and the panoramic views from here are truly exceptional.

Despite its tranquil and secluded setting, Montefienali is well positioned for discovering the highlights of the region. The charming towns of Gaiole and Castelnuovo Berardenga are both within a 25-minute drive and offer a good selection of restaurants, cafés, and local grocery shops. Just 10 km away, the small village of Nusenna provides a welcoming restaurant, while nearby wineries such as Cantalici and Rocca di Castagnoli invite visitors to enjoy tastings of their renowned Chianti wines. For memorable day trips, the historic cities of Siena and Arezzo can be reached in around an hour, while Florence and Pienza are only slightly further and offer an abundance of cultural, culinary, and architectural highlights.

Casa della Nonna C is a charming semi-detached villa with a balcony terrace that offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy meals al fresco while taking in lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Inside, traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are combined with tasteful furnishings, creating a warm and homely atmosphere.
